About me

Passion

I'm a registered Art Therapist and work with a broad range of people, from those experiencing mental health issues to those who want to boost their wellbeing and find more meaning in their life.

Some people are looking to heal, some looking to move through a tricky time in their lives, others might just feel stuck. I like to meet people where they're at and work with them in achieving their goals. 

​​

My greatest joy is working with women and young people to use art to find a greater sense of identity, meaning, connection and peace in their lives.

Experience

My expertise in promoting psychological wellbeing extends across a diverse spectrum of issues from stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, complex grief and burnout. 

 

My clinical experience includes providing art therapy services to adolescents in community based health center to supporting adolescent refugees and aslyum seekers dealing with acculturation and learning and behavioural issues often linked with PTSD.

For the past five years  I have tutored and supervised second year students' art based research in the UQ Masters of Mental Health Art Therapy program.

-supervising emerging art therapists in their independent research and tutoring in the University of Queensland's Masters of Mental Health Art Therapy program.
